About YOUTH ACTIVISM COLLECTIVE
“An activist is not a person who says the river is dirty. An activist is a person who cleans up the river”
- Ross Perot
OUR BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVES.
We, here at Youth Activism Collective, can demonstrate our scheme through this quote of Franklin D. Roosevelt, "We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future."
Our main purpose lies in educating the youth. We emphasize transparency in everything we do, setting bold goals and pursuing a clear strategy that seeks to move the needle. We work to ensure the youth community and future leaders have the knowledge, resources and opportunities to make a real change in society. We see our work as collective efforts and tools for connecting and building a stronger Pakistani youth. Through being vocal about all sorts of social concerns which affect our Pakistani society, we work to raise awareness within the youth, and hold decision-makers accountable for their actions, moving them to rethink what is possible.
Through our articles, videos, social media engagement, and different campaigns we work on, we strive to make individuals of Generation Z and Pakistani youth more socially, politically, and economically aware to transition into a more socially conscious, benevolent, and woke society. Our cause lies not only in becoming awareness-raisers, but also becoming advocates for humanitarian and social concerns of a wider scale.
Driven by making an impact and inspiring change, our organization is always expanding our understanding of contemporary issues and putting efforts pushing for positive solutions. We are constantly growing and adapting to the changes of society, inviting with open arms, like-minded catalysts of change to join us to discover how they can make an impact, and welcoming the unaware youngsters to widen their horizon of social conscience.
